Post Exams 29/8 - 31/8
Dad came back from China on I can't remember which day but it doesn't really matter because I've Officially Finished exams and am on HOLIDAYS for 1 MONTH 3 WEEKS! Lotsa FREE time! YAY! =))))))
29/8- Nth much. Most of us got individual programs going on. Therefore, didn't really have any post-exam celebration. Haha.
30/8- I remembered I was emo and was msging Olen. =/
31/8-
SVC DAY with guest speaker Pst Casey Treat with the sermon on believing and confessing for things to come true.
After svc, went CS to have lunch and for the first time, there were on 4 of us (Lisa, XY, myself & JY). Funny though. Maybe I'm too use to having a big group for fellowship after svc. Anyway, lunch was alright and the ladies had a talk after JY left. Well, I could said that the talk was good in a sense, I finally managed to give my views on certain things that has been going on in the Cg and why some of us are behaving in the certain ways we are. And maybe some misunderstandings were cleared up?
As we were talking, I did feel bad about not doing some stuff or carried myself in the wrong way and thus, portraying the wrong message and all. But deep down, I just feel that I should just accept what Lisa's told us and just work on them to change for the better. Somehow, I'm not like the past where I will dwell on the issues, feeling guilty, emo and all. This time round, its just ok, alright, I will take note, I will change and lets all work for the better. Haha. Somehow, I rather taken aback by my own internal response.
I still remember Jing once told me, after I kenna discipled by Ziwei for the first time w/o any warning that, " Nobody is bad as long as the person is teachable and I must Trust that my leader is my covering and what he/she does is for my good."
However, I really don't understand why people always misunderstood why I did things in certain ways or why I behaved in certain ways and this had led to quite a few misunderstandings, even within my family. Am I really that off frequency? Oh well.
After lunch, I was suppose to meet my Pos clique to celebrate Mao's and Yun's belated birthday but blur me actually got a family dinner to attend to. On the other hand, this birthday gathering which was planned and postponed, planned and postponed could not be further planned and postponed anymore because everybody except me are running on a tight schedule. Sigh =/ Therefore, yours truely had to Ps them for family sake. Sigh.
However, I still managed to meet up Irwin Ho at Vivo to shop for their presents first and we really went shopping. So hard to decide what gifts to get! Bad friend was nice and came to join us too, even though he totally dunno who are the people we were shopping for presents for. So I was really happy because I've got 2 of my dearest friends with me. Haha. If you're reading this bad friend, I really thank you for taking the effort to come over (:
Waited with Irwin for the rest of the clique to come and I think they settled for celebration at Sushi Tei. Boo. I couldn't join them but I managed to steal some bites at Superdog with Bad friend before going off for the dinner gathering. I was craving for Superdog badly ok!
Next up, dinner at oh-i-suddenly-forgot-whats-the-hotel-name-but-I-know-it-starts-with-an-A-hotel @ Tanjong Pagar. I've been there twice, one for tea and now for dinner. And I must say I was rather disappointed with their dinner buffet, minus the desert part which I thought wasn't too bad. Hah. But of course, my role was to be there to eat and be part of the gathering and hopefully there will be something I could talk about or people would actually ask or even hear my opinions. Ahh whatever, my role in the big family gathering isn't really that significant most of the time. I just need to make sure they don't think that I'm only spending time with my friends or for church or doing something they dunno that I'm doing which technically, is a lot. Haha. So glad that we were being driven home after that because I was really tired tired tired. And haha, I managed to talked about the Olympic 08 during dinner and it was good because I could share with them so much stuff they didn't know. Lala.
