~Prayer meeting~
Dear Diarykinz...
I just went for my first prayer meet with my cg and it was made even more special and exciting as it was held at expo hall 8. Yes, Expo Hall 8! the place where the church will be for the next few years? I was really amazed when i stepped into it. Its simply awesome! Both the outer reception and the interior svc hall were beautifully done up. I loved the stage the most.
Hmm, actually before the whole thingy began, I was very much in anticipation since at least a day before? Not only to anticipate how the place is going to be like but also how the prayer meet is going to be. Its my first one you see and all thanks to dear xiangcen who refused to tell me wholly about it but to keep me in suspense. Argh, I really hated the feeling of unexpectancy! Plus, praying is not my forte and prayer meeting definitely means you'll to pray right...but hey, it all went pretty well. The atmosphere was really there, and its so nice to see the whole big place being packed up with ppl believing and praying for the same things, praising and worshipping God also. I especially like the part when we sang 'rain down' and 'i could sing of your love forever'. I spoke in tongues for long like i had never spoken before! and there was also this part where pst decided tt we'll pray on our own for 15mins. My first thot was..'15mins? wah..so long..oh no...' but ultimately i really did prayed for tt full length, leaving myself surprised that i could actually thought of many things to pray abt..but i didn't really speak out but to run them through my mind cos i always believe that God knows what i'm thinking, feeling and the reasons of my doing..
All in all, i must really say that attending this prayer meeting really gave me a whole new different experience apart from normal svc and its really good. I must also really do improve on my praying skill bahz, both in quality and quanity..
My questions to everybody: -Issit better to pray for a matter/issue specifically in depth or a few matter/issue generally or less in depth if one is given a period of time during prayer meet or svc to pray on his or her own like tt 15mins?
-Will a spoken out prayer be better or more powerful?
