My First Job Interview!
Woke up around 11+am today..got ready and hang around the house before I make my way down to Serangoon Mrt to meet Donovon! We'll be going down to a company named Research Plus at chinatown for our job interview! Yup..you're not reading wrongly...yours truely is going to find job and work this holiday! Hahah..a lil unbelievable right? I din expect myself to also..haha..my initial thought is that i'll not work when i'm still studying because i just don't see it so...haha..and i always don't understand why my frenz around me are always so enthu about it...not really that desperate for money also wat...but this time round..i guess i really didn't have much of a choice...family ain't doing well...and din really wanna idle my time away at home (cos i hate being at home with my mum yanking away)..plus there's building fund..and due to some poor mamagement..i'm running low on finances now..haiz...
Donovon was so good! Thanks for taking the time out and go down for the interview with me! haha..i know this is not a ideal job..so yup..we'll keep on looking yea? Haha...Yup, i only phoned him yesterday night to ask if he wants to give it a try and thank God he agreed even though he didn't really like the job and we talked so much about so many stuff for 1.5hrs! Really enjoyed man..its been so long since i really chatted with any of my pos clique member liddat..guess we're all busy with sch and exam and stuff bahz...Yup..jing,irwin,cloud and don, Don't forget our 23/11 meeting straight after the end of As k? Haha...dunno why...i'm kinda looking forward to that even like now? haha..still early...
Yup...so we found the place...filled up the forms..read thru a sample survey and had a immediate trail..Phew~it went ok...for a on-spot situation..not too bad lar..somemore really first timer lol...haha..but it was kinda weird to have our trail with each other around...thot it would be solo...
After that we went all the way to lavender and walked to the place near Golden mile where the army market is...cos was just asking don about tt place and if he wanna goes with me cos dad asked me to help him find out abt the crowd there as he thot of having a shop there... We had our lunch at the hawker centre there...food wasn't too bad..and its so so so long since we last get to eat at those kinda hawker center..now everywhere also fast food chians, restaurants or food courts...where got visit hawker center much now? haha...but we have to forsake the tempting fried banana for our coming up oral presentation sake...aww =(
Walked around the army market and other shops...Hmm..the place is really hot lar...and most of the things sold are fake...and its really kinda lok kok...hmm..din really appeal to me much but it still interesting to explore this kinda place for a chance from shopping malls...haha...and guess wat? we actually found ed-softy there and other fake true religion stuff selling at still $100+...Incase you're wondering wat ed-softy is, it stands for fake ed-hardy stuff...haha..so lame right...donovon's cgl told him that..tsk tsk...Ya..those stuff there are being sold at $100+ and you may think its ex! which i thot so...but skin and ed-hardy are selling them at $300+, the real ones of couse...so ya..they are so ex that even the imitation ones are still so ex...haha...
After exploring the place, we had nowhere else to go cos there's no other shopping place around! So we decided to walk our way down to attributes showroom at kallang there as don is have a ministry meeting tonight...On our way there., we came by this mama shop..those kinda lok kok ones that we always go to when we were young..haha..and we decide to shop a lil there..and really found so many 'last time' food and they broght back so many wonderful experiences and memories..haha...bought some stuff there and we continued on our journey...After don reached attributes, i continue my way to walk to kallang station there to take a bus to boon keng...and haiz, i slept on the bus and missed one stop, so have to walk back to the boon keng station and take a train to sengkang..and walked home from the station...
Came home and called olen and chatted a bit..and we found kc's, sydney's, delirious's and ruben morgan's blog! haha...
All in all, today is a great day spent, apart from the walking, exploring places that i've never been to before...Thanks don once again for accompanying me..=)
Gonna go prepare for my oral presentation now...ciao'
