Promos- GP

GP paper was average. Not exactly easy but not exactly unmanageable also. I must say i took a great leap of faith for my compo paper man because usually i'll only choose the family or education topic question to write since i'm always debating in this two topics for all major gp exam of mine. But today, i'm caught in the situation that where i couldn't write for the questions that are in these two topic and fianlly i decided to write on the prejudice and discrimination topic. My first time tackling this topic in sucha important exam somemore. The question is ' What more can be done for towards the issue of discrimination' (something liddat, cant really rem the exact) Anyway, i brought up the issue about gender discrimination, racial discrimination and education level discrimination (even though i don really think such discrimaination is official but when you're desperate, anything will do. haha) Overall, i wasnt too happy with my end product because i feel that i tried to squeeze in too much that i do not have enough time to do a proper for all and that i keep losing the focus and deviates into the examples of discrimination instead of what more can be done. And the plans i had for the what more can be done only included government's intervention by holding campaigns and changing education system and the society/companies giving people fairer chances and stuff. Sigh. and i forgot to include some real good examples that i planned like the Negros and the Whites. =/



Compre's summary was bad. I only had about 100 out of the 120 max and i rounded up but didnt really finish my AQ. Haha, but it was one of my best achievemant for compre so far to be able to sorta complete to finish writing 2/3 of my AQ. I still rem my last year's standard is completing till summary only and AQ was left blank. Haha. I was rather surprise by the pick of passages this year and passage B was seriosuly morbid man. Both passages are about old age and death with passage A approach being more pratical and about things to consider while preparing for old age and stuff and passage B talks about the enlightment one can get from approaching old age and to embrace old age and death and stuff. Rather morbid. *Faint*



After GP, we went Val's hse in attempt to study but all 3 of us ended up sleeping all they way till about 430pm! Tired man. Did a lil of maths and Val's mum bought us dinner. I had ban mian. Haha. Went for CG at kelvin's hse after that. P&W was great. Quite long since i last experienced something liddat. Fellowshipped awhile and celebrated Jinhong's Birthday before going off with Donny. Cabbed back and Donny paid for it. Thanks man =)

Chatted on the phone and slept. Haha
